Initial findings

Only drawback I have found for the moment, the inability to change the battery without destroying the helmet.

Perfect concept, little flaws

I had the predecessor and sold it for its bad audio quality. This upgrade with the JBL tuned speakers is almost perfect. Two things that need improvement though:

1.) hardware design: the speaker modules are glued in place and contact is made by tiny spring-pins. If the helmet gets a shock, like when dropped, those become slightly lose with the effect, that pairing with the phone becomes almost impossible. It was very hard to figure that out. But it's real and reproducible.

2.) software: the app connection keeps being a problem. It sometimes gets better and then some update seems to be making it worse again. Then i need to check for issue Nr. 1 as pointed out above and mostly it's not that, it's just the software acting up. This has been pretty consistent over the last 3 Android iterations and for shits and giggles, I've also tested this on old phones i have here with Android 9 and 7. Same issues with the app.

Apart from those flaws I've had nothing but good times riding and listening to music and even talking on the phone (wind noise reduction is astonishingly good). Thanks for a really great product! I really love the helmet!

An Excellent Choice

I'm a big fan of this helmet. It fits well and looks great. All the things work the way they're supposed to. I noticed that when I use the blinkers or the automatic brake light comes on the cars around me really pay attention. They give me a lot more space and more people notice me, especially at night. Also, the speakers are fantastic. I haven't been able to use the PTT feature yet.

I had to deduct a star because the helmet I received had an extra long strap on one side that should have been found at the quality control stage.
